Gamespot takes first look at new CoD4 Maps.

Gamespot.com has been lucky enough to be able to preview the new maps coming out for Call of Duty 4, and if you don't want any Middle Eastern or Russian maps no more, you will be very happy to know that there is only new one map that is located in these locations(out of these two at least).
That map is Broadcast, based on the TV Station part of the level Charlie Don't Surf. Not only does it include the main room with all the TVs and cubicles, but it also has access to the the parking lot, second floor, and the roof. Sadly, helicopters and air strikes will only usually be useful in this level because of this.

The other map shown to Gamespot was Creek, another forest map but not really from any of the locations shown in the game. It seems to be a huge map with a tall ravine, a few cliff side points, and a tunnel inside the base of the hill. It also seems to be much brighter than the other ones while still feeling that same feeling of grit. Sounds and looks like anyone's dream to me!
These are only two of the four maps supposed to come out. The others are called Chinatown and Killhouse, which weren't previewed but we can all guess what Chinatown is supposed to be like, and the only clue to what Killhouse could be based on was the campaign's training level. With an unspecified date, the maps will be out in a few months for the Xbox 360 and PS3, while they still have no news on how they are supposed to ship it on PCs.
